Edwurd Fudwupper Fibbed Big by Berkeley Breathed
The Curious Garden by Peter Brown

If I were to go out and purchase any of the books I borrowed it would be The Curious Garden.

Krong! by Garry Parsons
Oscara and the Mooncats by Gene Rymond
The Boy Who Wouldn't Share by Mike Reiss

Knuffle Bunny by Mo Willems
Leonard the Terrible Monster by Mo Willems

When Dinosaurs Came With Everything by Elise Broach
Who Wants a Cheap Rhinoceros? by Shel Silverstein

The two above were my six year old boy's favorite.
Rotten Teeth by Laura Simms
Car Wash by Sandra Steen and Susan Steen
Skunkdog by Pierre Pratt

And of course I got a couple for myself that I highly recommend:
Sweetwater Gap By Denise Hunter
Handle With Care by Jodi Picoult

Did you notice the accessories in the background? The candle holders and decorative wooden balls were todays great thrift store find. Not that I really needed more accessories but at $2.50 I couldn't pass them up.
The Blue one is my favorite and has inspired a whole new distressed turquoise color craze. I think I'll paint the small wood one. Red. Maybe.
