We got this bed today... for free! I'm kinda in shock. Yesterday, we got a call from my husband's friend from work saying that his family had been given an extra bed when they picked up their order from the furniture store. The store was going out of business and didn't want it back. I'm so grateful that they thought of us! I had seen a loft bed in a Pottery Barn magazine that was full sized on top with a desk, dresser and bookcase built in but it came with an outrageous price tag. So I downloaded a pattern online for a loft bunk that was twin sized with a simple desk... but was trying to figure out a way to make it for a full sized bed. It would have cost over $200 in lumber and supplies to make the bed. So to get this bed for free has me wanting to do a back flip. I put the item number in a Google search and found it at a list price of $947.67! God is good isn't He! I can't wait to put this bed up... but we're holding off until we find out if we're moving or not... another thing I can't wait for!! I am NOT a patient person :) It's going to look so great in my little boy's room!
