I never pictured myself as someone who would drink hot tea. I first fell in love with Starbucks Tazo Chai Frappichino. And I had always enjoyed a cup of iced tea. But hot tea was something I drank to fall asleep. One night about three weeks ago, that all changed. I had made myself a cup of Tazo Chai because I had a sore throat. I took a sip and realized that it was just too hot to be palatable. I thought about adding an ice cube, but that just waters it down. So I open the fridge for some milk, but found some Cinnamon Vanilla coffee creamer instead. I poured a bit it and my pitch black tea became a delicious cream. It was so good, that I went back for more. The next morning, I made another concoction of tea and creamer. I was hooked. I find myself having several cups a day... Tazo chai, green tea, red tea... whatever is handy as long as it has plenty of creamer (and perhaps a drizzle of caramel). Even my girls are asking for tea... we made a tea party of it. The other day though, I went to heat up some green beans for dinner and found a mug of cold tea waiting there for me. I rolled my eyes at myself and thought "Good heavens, I've turned into my mother." Anyways, I've got another cup waiting in the microwave, nice a steaming hot and ready for some creamer, than I've got a good book to curl up in a blanket and read while the guys are watching Terminator. So Cheery-o my good mates.
