Do you know what has me excited about Christmas this year? For the first time, all three of my children have grasped the concept of Christmas. This year we'll have no baby that is more interested in the paper than the toy itself. The kids have latched onto the idea that Santa is bringing them toys. They've all written letters (or drew a picture) of what they want... in detail. They're counting down the days on hand-made calendars. They stare in wonder at the lights on the Christmas tree and search for "their" ornament. It's all quite wonderful and fills my heart with joy. I can't wait to give them their gifts on Christmas morning and see their happy little faces. It truly is the most wonderful time of the year.
