I can't believe that it has been three years since the birth of my third child. My baby. Do I want another one? no. Could I have said that any faster? Why would I want another baby?! For the most part, my children all sleep 12 hours, if not more, each night. Straight through. No midnight feedings, or 2 a.m. diaper changes. In fact, we are officially a diaper-free family! We have no cribs, no high chairs, or anything else for a baby for that matter. Instead we have Play-doh, alphabet magnets, addition charts, and flashcards. We're in a new stage of our lives and I LOVE it. I didn't think I would, not this much anyway. Sure there are moments when I want to pull my hair out, but this is such a rewarding time. When they were infants, I did everything for them. It was exhausting! (and messy!) Now, they can do so much for themselves and they do things for me! They can wipe the table and make a bed, put the silverware away, or fold towels. If I'm lucky I can get someone to vacuum for me. Nothing makes me prouder than to see them learn a new skill. Even my youngest can spell her name. The greatest thing about this age, in my opinion, is their ability to reciprocate love. Without provocation, any one of my children will come up to hug me and say 'I love you.' It  produces a high that cannot be achieved by any other means. Being a mom is the best job ever... especially to these three kids!
