I love having an active role in my kid's education. Nothing beats the satisfaction of that 'aha' moment when they understand a new concept. At times, I feel like I have no clue what I doing and wonder if I just holding them back in some way. Then I remind myself that no one knows them better than I do and no public school can offer the same amount of one-on-one attention. I'd be so jealous if someone else saw this face when you first wrote your name instead of me. I'm so glad that I was there and I'm so proud of my kids. They are incredibly smart and gifted, each in their own unique way.
